RadialContext-D

The original RadialContext menu...

«is a hierarchical, context-sensitive pie menu for Mozilla. It offers an alternative to both the normal context menu and mouse gestures. The feeling is very similar to mouse gestures. But there also is a GUI so you don't have to look up what options are available in the given context.»

RadialContext-D is the continuation of this project, since the original creator has disappeared. Some bugs needed to be fixed, compatibility with newer versions of the browser had to be maintained, some features were cool to add :-)

RadialContext-D has only been tested on Firefox 2.0+, but should still work on the 1.5 branch and on Mozilla. Anyway, some new feature may not work, and I'm not going to implement them on browsers that do not support them.

Attention: development of RadialContext-D has stopped. While very few changes would have been necessary to ensure Firefox 3 compatibility, another developer has released his own version of this extension, RadialContext-MZ.

-MZ starts from where -D stopped, both improving the original code and adding new features, including menu customization. RadialContext-D is probably more stable on Firefox 2, but for those switching to the new version of the browser, RadialContext-MZ is the extension to install ;-)

RadialContext-D has been awarded a 100% CLEAN award granted by Softpedia.
