It's been years since I had the chance to sail on my own, and I never had such a wonderful setting. Clouds, colours, wind, rain and sun, all at the same time.

Step after step, not without effort, you go up and leave a pit of darkness behind.

What is left of a prehistoric vulcano, is one of my favourite destinations in this city.

A construction yard started centuries ago, it seems never to be complete. Random buildings are built between other random buildings, following styles that don't really match.

I find vertical panorama very interesting. I like the way perspective bends, giving the picture a more surreal look than in their horizontal counterparts. The building definitely helps to the overall effect.

From the top of the Brunelleschi cupola, the sight is always breathtaking. If I were to live in Florence, I'd climb up there everyday, just to read a book.

Start location for orcs and, I think, also trolls. As a good travelling elf, I had to sit by the side of the road, waiting for some 2nd level noob to attack me. A couple tried, gg.

Men, boring Men inhabit this city. They are probably all annoying paladins. Some good shops and a nice cathedral inside, but I'd like it bigger.

Capital city of the Drarwes, it's carved as usual under a mountain. In the picture, one of its best rooms, but not the most comfortable :-) If you happen to be in Kalimdor, go visit the city, possibly entering through the main door, and not from underground, using the gnomish SubTram from Stromwind.

I didn't get on the Helags, because the weather was bad in the morning. Later the day turned into a wonderful sunset

A hut in the middle of nowhere, a hill among many other. Two more days of walk in this direction and you get back to civilisation.

Snow is quite unusual in Genoa, and makes the harbour look strange.

Near the end of Glen Nevis, leaving the road, you can get to a rocky passage, more or less 4 meters wide, full of insects. After about a hundred meters, the path suddenly arrives in this valley where it disappears. So close to civilization but, at the same time, so far.

Tiny and wondeful scottish town, almost at the end of a long firth on the west coast. The tourist parking is bigger than the town itself.

On the way back from the cloudy top of the Ben Nevis. One of the many green and empty glens of Scotland. At the bottom, 14m above the sea, a hostel and a camping.

You wouldn't say, but this park is in the middle of a capital city. I would just love to take a nap on this perfectly clean grass.
